Job summary

Koninklijke Vopak N.V. seeks a Growth Contracts Manager to guide contracting and procurement for growth projects.

You will ensure alignment with Vopak’s project management standards, oversee Tender Board activities, and negotiate EPC contracts while supporting project teams with governance and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage contract risk, and develop training programs to enhance governance capabilities across business units.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas, energy, terminal operations, or industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Growth Projects contracting and procurement to align with Vopak PM methodology and governance.
• Organize, facilitate, and document Tender Board meetings with proper record-keeping.
• Manage RFx processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and negotiate EPC contracts with transparent evaluation.
• Establish contract risk assessment protocols, track variations, and enforce cost controls.
• Assist project teams with contract management and staffing of contracts personnel.
• Participate in VPM Stage-Gate reviews and liaise across governance checkpoints.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Leadership to align contracting with business objectives.
• Develop and deliver contracting and procurement training to enhance governance.
