Smithbucklin in Washington, DC (hybrid) seeks an Executive Director to lead BISA. You will serve as BISA’s senior association executive, translating strategy into measurable outcomes and acting as a visible ambassador to the financial services industry.

The role requires an executive who can lead through influence, activate volunteer leaders and committees, mobilize Smithbucklin resources, and ensure disciplined execution of the strategy, governance, and growth initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years of executive‑level management experience with strategy, operations, and financial performance.
• 5+ years in leadership within a volunteer‑governed association or comparable member‑based enterprise.
• Ability to lead through influence with senior executives, boards, and volunteers.
• Experience translating strategy into measurable outcomes and disciplined execution.

Aufgaben

• Lead BISA’s Strategic Transformation Plan with Executive Committee, Board, and Smithbucklin resources.
• Develop operating plans, milestones, ownership, and Board‑level reporting.
• Create and maintain KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards measuring progress and member value.
• Advise on bylaws, board structure, governance practices, and volunteer recruitment.
