Job summary

Willdan Group, Inc. is seeking a Mission-Critical Business Development Manager to drive growth in data center, telecom, and cable sectors.

You will cultivate executive-level relationships, identify complex opportunities, and lead consultative sales efforts for Willdan Energy Solutions' energy, engineering, and sustainability solutions. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, collaborate across engineering, project management, and operations teams, and forecast revenue while expanding Willdan's

Qualifications

8-10 years of consultative business development, strategic sales, or account management experience in mission-critical environments.
5+ years in mission-critical industries including data centers, telecom, and cable environments with HVAC/energy solutions.
Strong ability to manage multiple complex pursuits and drive revenue objectives.
Experience collaborating with engineering, project management, finance, legal, marketing and operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market share and achieve revenue objectives.
Cultivate executive-level relationships with facility owners, public agencies, and strategic partners.
Lead consultative sales engagements by identifying client needs and proposing Willdan Energy Solutions' solutions.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals.
