Willdan Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in data center, telecom, and cable sectors.

You will develop executive-level client relationships, identify complex opportunities, and lead consultative sales efforts across Willdan Energy Solutions’ energy, engineering, design-build, and optimization contracting solutions. Competenze

8-10 years of consultative business development, strategic sales, or related client-facing roles in mission-critical environments with a proven record of successful projects.
5+ years in mission-critical industries including data centers, telecom, and cable with HVAC, controls, and energy-conservation focus; experience with corporate data center clients preferred.
Understanding of PUE, equipment efficiency calculations, heat load to cooling load analysis, economization energy use, airflow optimization, and IT rack density analysis.

Cultivate long-term relationships with executive-level decision-makers and strategic partners.
Lead consultative sales engagements by identifying client needs and communicating value of energy solutions.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, finance, legal, marketing, and operations to build competitive proposals.
Coordinate internal resources to deliver tailored client solutions and ensure successful delivery.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast revenue using BD tools.
Analyze market trends and procurement opportunities to identify new business opportunities.
Advocate for clients and manage expectations while promoting exceptional service.
Mentor junior BD professionals and promote a collaborative sales culture.
