Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an Executive Director of Advancement for the Brown School to lead fundraising strategy, donor cultivation, and stewardship.

You will direct a team of advancement professionals and partner with the Dean, school leadership, and University Advancement to drive major gifts and campaign goals. You will supervise prospect management, design solicitation plans, and align school priorities with broad fundraising initiatives while being a principal resource

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Record of significant achievement in major gifts fundraising.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituencies within a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive advancement strategy for the Brown School.
• Advise Dean and school leadership on advancement activities and fundraising priorities.
• Oversee gift officers, prospect development, and stewardship programs to build donor pipelines.
• Develop and manage budgets and annual operational plans for the Brown School advancement team.
• Partner with University Advancement and school leadership to execute campaigns and strategies.
