You will set fundraising priorities, supervise a team of advancement professionals, and partner with the Dean and university leadership to cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts aligned with school priorities. Ideal candidates bring a track record of major gifts success, strategic leadership, and ability to navigate a large, complex academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years major gifts fundraising experience.
• Proven ability to develop sophisticated gift strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a complex university environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Comprehensive Advancement Strategy for the Sam Fox School.
• Oversee prospect pool development and manage strategy.
• Set fundraising goals and oversee gift tables.
• Travel and attend events with the Dean as needed.
• Staff and develop the advancement team; budget and operational plans.
• Collaborate with Corporate and Foundations Relations.
