Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Senior Associate Director of Prospect Management in Saint Louis, MO. This full-time, benefits-eligible role supports unified donor-centric fundraising strategies, coaching 1–3 staff and guiding prospect movement across Leadership and Major Giving portfolios.

You will analyze performance, align data with action, and advise frontline fundraisers and campus partners on best practices in prospect management. Hybrid schedule may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising, higher education, or related context is valued.
• Ability to manage complex prospect data and generate insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with gift officers to move prospects through fundraising cycles.
• Coach and mentor 1–3 Prospect Management Consultants.
• Ensure data integrity of prospect information and reporting.
• Partner with prospect research to deliver key information for managed prospects.
• Advise on policy, processes, and best practices in prospect management.
• Monitor fundraising activity and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Provide insights to leaders on performance, cultivation, and asks.
• Support development of prospect management module in IT projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
