Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a seasoned leader for Corporate Strategy and Development – Automotive & AI in Novi, MI. You will shape the company’s strategic agenda, guide portfolio priorities, and drive growth through strategic partnerships and potential acquisitions.

You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to translate market and technology insights into actionable roadmaps, delivering measurable outcomes and high‑impact initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; technical, quantitative, or economics background preferred.
• 8–10+ years in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, or related field.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams or multidisciplinary workstreams.
• Significant experience in automotive/tech sectors preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and business judgment.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate analysis into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year strategy and portfolio priorities for Automotive & AI.
• Lead cross-functional strategy initiatives to address business challenges and growth opportunities.
• Assess acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investments; prepare executive materials.
• Lead or support execution of inorganic growth initiatives and partnerships.
• Coach and develop strategy team members and communicate clear executive narratives.
