Job summary

HP's Corporate Strategy team is seeking an experienced strategy practitioner to define our gameplan and guide business decisions across product, portfolio, and GTM initiatives. You will synthesize analyses, test hypotheses, and craft executive-ready narratives with cross-functional partners.

Based in Palo Alto or other eligible US locations, the role emphasizes strategic frameworks, long-term planning, and communicating insights to the C-suite to influence investments and roadmap choices.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or product strategy roles (hands-on business strategy experience required)
• Experience building business plans, TAM analyses, investment theses, and executive narratives in emerging technology domains
• Strong financial modeling and business case development capabilities
• Demonstrated track record of crafting high-quality C-suite presentations and strategic recommendations
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, frame problems independently, and move quickly to insight and action
• MBA preferred, advanced technical or business degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Strategy formulation: develop frameworks and narratives for executive decisions
• Portfolio and investment evaluation within long-term planning processes
• Create data-driven long-term business plans, forecasts and monetization models
• Collaborate with GBU and product teams to align roadmaps with HP's strategy
• Provide leadership in storytelling and visualization for ELT discussions
