Job summary

X-energy seeks an Associate IV on the Growth & Strategy team to shape and execute the company’s corporate strategy, identify new markets and partnerships, and evaluate acquisitions that define our future. You’ll translate between engineering, commercial, and financial perspectives to drive decisions with clear ownership of strategic projects.

You will build cogent financial models in Excel and create concise PowerPoint presentations for executives and the board, while collaborating across teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA typically preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel modeling skills with the ability to build models from scratch and run scenarios.
• Experience in strategy development including market and competitor analysis, and business case evaluation.
• Experience communicating with executive leaders and presenting to boards.

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis to contribute to corporate development opportunities and strategy for new ventures, partnerships, capital formation, and M&A.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to surface solutions and execution plans improving viability, cost, and schedule.
• Lead development of company-wide strategy, creating presentations and processes aligned with long-term goals.
• Develop and evolve financial models across a portfolio of investments to support long-term decisions.
• Support senior leadership in preparing materials for meetings with executives, boards, and investors.
