Job summary

AMIkids, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development for a six-month temporary assignment in Tampa, FL. The role leads strategic growth, secures government funding, and builds workforce partnerships to advance the organization’s mission and expansion plans.

The candidate will develop proposals, manage relationships with federal, state, and local agencies, and coordinate cross-functional teams to pursue opportunities. Travel to partner sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in business development or workforce development.
• Experience with WIOA, Job Corps, and government-funded programs.
• Strong proposal development and government relations experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities with federal and local agencies.
• Develop a business development strategy aligned to AMIkids' mission.
• Cultivate partnerships with Job Corps centers and workforce boards.
• Lead proposal development and competitive bidding processes.
• Represent AMIkids at conferences and stakeholder meetings.
• Track pipeline and report status to executive leadership.
