Job summary

AMIkids Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant for full cycle accounting at the Tampa home office. You will prepare monthly financial statements, maintain policies, and provide financial support to affiliates’ administrative teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting and at least five years of related experience, strong accounting principles, and proficiency with accounting software and MS Office. This position offers full-time hours with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls for affiliates.
• Provide financial support to affiliates’ administrative teams.
• Prepare cash flow/forecast and monitor cash flow.
• Oversee affiliate spending and ensure compliance with policies.
• Train and develop accounting staff and affiliate personnel.
• Communicate financial matters with affiliate boards.
• Maintain and update schedules for reconciliations of GL accounts.
