Job summary
Cognite is seeking a Senior Business Development Director in the Supply Chain CoE to drive growth by winning new supply chain business within territory accounts. You will act as a subject matter expert, leveraging deep domain insights to transform customers’ supply chains with Cognite Applications and the Cognite Data Fusion Platform.
The role demands 10+ years in manufacturing/supply chain, 7+ years in enterprise software/SaaS sales to C-levels, and a track record of meeting SaaS bookings
Qualifications
- Deep domain expertise in complex Supply Chain operations for energy, manufacturing or utilities verticals.
- Ability to sell value and build ROI frameworks for buyers.
- Strong communication skills tailored for C-suite engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted territory strategy to accelerate bookings growth.
- Prospect and generate pipeline with compelling commercial insights.
- Lead extended territory teams through complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Quantify ROI and present strong business cases to executives.
- Collaborate with partners to qualify and progress pipeline.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with C-level executives.
- Work with Product/Marketing to feed market insights back into strategy.
- Forecast bookings and keep Salesforce records up to date.
