Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, is seeking a Business Development Director to identify and advance strategic growth opportunities across aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, construction services, and emerging businesses.

The role serves as the market-facing representative of the organization, building executive-level relationships with customers, owners, developers, engineers, contractors, municipalities, utilities, and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction materials, heavy civil construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success developing executive-level customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy, contract negotiations, and market development.
• Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Build and maintain a rolling three to five-year pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Identify emerging markets, infrastructure investments, and industry trends that create growth opportunities.
• Lead strategic account planning, customer business reviews, and retention initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional pursuit strategies and executive engagement.
• Position Staker Parson as the preferred construction materials and services partner.
