Job summary

Kinder's is seeking an Associate, Corporate Strategy to identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities across new categories, markets, and strategic initiatives.

You will build analytical models, partner with cross-functional leaders, and translate findings into practical recommendations, with coaching from senior strategy team members. This role is based in Walnut Creek, CA, offering exposure to senior leadership and regular strategy reviews.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy or similar analytical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with ability to build flexible analyses.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to translate analyses into concise recommendations; executive storytelling a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and business acumen.
• Experience with data tools (Tableau/Power BI/SQL) a plus.
• CPG or food industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Growth Strategy & New Opportunities: map new categories and markets and develop business cases.
• Corporate Strategy & Long-Range Planning: build strategic plans and allocate resources.
• Business Operations & Transformation: improve growth, margins, and operating efficiency.
• Corporate Development: analyze M&A and investment opportunities and support due diligence.
• Enterprise Initiatives: manage strategic projects end-to-end with senior guidance.
