Job summary

JM Test Systems, LLC. is hiring a Senior Strategy Analyst to partner with executives and commercial teams. You will structure ambiguous questions, create actionable insights, and drive go-to-market strategy, capital allocation, and strategic priorities.

Expect cross-functional collaboration and direct presentations to senior leadership. You’ll build forecasting models, quantify revenue opportunities, and automate recurring reporting to influence decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 2+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, FP&A, or commercial/growth analytics
• Structured problem solving that leads to actionable decisions
• Strong commercial instinct and curiosity about how a business grows
• Comfort with ambiguity and bias toward defensible answers
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint; fluency with Claude or other LLM tools; R, Python, or BI tools a plus
• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and familiarity with sales/marketing automation tools (Apollo.io, Clay, Klaviyo)
• Financial fluency including P&L, margin analysis, and basic valuation concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership
• Strong project management and ability to run multiple workstreams

Responsibilities

• Structure open-ended business questions into analyses that produce clear recommendations
• Identify and quantify revenue opportunities across accounts, segments, geographies, and service lines
• Own analytics behind commercial performance and automate recurring reporting
• Build forecasting models to flag at-risk accounts and high-potential prospects
• Turn complex analysis into clear leadership narratives and recurring executive materials
• Maintain an outside-in view of markets, competitors, and customer demand signals
• Support corporate development by evaluating commercial performance of new acquisitions
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure clean data and build self-service tools using AI/LLM tooling
• Analyze profitability by customer, service line, and contract to inform pricing and mix decisions
