Vine Maple Place in Maple Valley, WA seeks a Director of Grants and Institutional Giving to lead a multi-funder program, aligning strategy with mission to end homelessness in South King County. You will oversee a grants team, manage a $2.4 million portfolio, cultivate foundations and corporate supporters, and translate outcomes into compelling proposals.

The role reports to the CEO, works closely with programming, and requires exceptional writing, project management, and relationship-building

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus four or more years of fundraising experience with emphasis on foundation, corporate and organizational grant development and fundraising is required.
• Experience securing grant funding in the social services sector.
• Impeccable writing skills with the ability to weave compelling proposals using data, narrative, strategies and outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the strategic growth of a portfolio of foundation, corporate and organizational funders, representing a minimum of $2.4 million in funding
• Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective funders
• Plan and coordinate grants team workflow and deadlines
• Oversee grant narratives and organizational metrics for proposals and reports
• Translate data and outcomes into compelling cases for support
• Manage grant applications, budgets and reporting with finance
• Maintain grant management systems and ensure accurate tracking of grants and results
• Coordinate site visits and funder follow-ups
• Serve as primary contact for foundation and corporate representatives
• Support development of a strategic fundraising plan with CEO and team
• Collaborate with CEO and program leadership on funding opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of Vine Maple Place initiatives and objectives
• Work with Board to identify and solicit new institutional funders
• Engage institutional funders alongside CEO and board members
