The Salvation Army Eastern Territory is seeking a Grant Writer to research and prepare government proposals, United Way applications, and private foundation requests to fund current operations and new programs across the NEOSA Division footprint.

You will collaborate with the Director and program staff, maintain donor records, and ensure timely reporting and compliance with funders’ requirements. Strong writing, research, and data-analysis skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of grant writing or nonprofit development experience.
• Proven track record of successful grant writing.
• Experience in government agency funding is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Research and identify government funding opportunities for Corps in the Division.
• Develop, write, and submit grant proposals to public funders.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on funded program activities.
• Maintain files and correspondence to comply with funders’ requirements.
• Cultivate revenue-generating relationships with government and foundations.
• Prepare and maintain a grant calendar with deadlines.
• Coordinate with Director and staff to support fundraising success.
