United Way of Southern Nevada Inc is seeking a strategic Grant Development Manager to oversee the full grant lifecycle, from prospect research to reporting. This role requires strong writing, project management, and cross-department collaboration to secure funding for community programs in Southern Nevada.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Human Services, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, institutional giving, fundraising, technical writing, nonprofit development, or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

Aufgaben

• Grant Development & Strategic Funding: Research, identify, and evaluate grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.
• Grant Development & Strategic Funding: Develop compelling letters of inquiry, grant proposals, applications, and funding requests.
• Grant Development & Strategic Funding: Create persuasive narratives that communicate community needs, program outcomes, impact metrics, and organizational strengths.
• Grant Development & Strategic Funding: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop funding strategies that align with organizational priorities.
• Grant Development & Strategic Funding: Support strategic growth by identifying new funding opportunities and emerging funding trends.
• Grant Management & Compliance: Manage the grant calendar and submission schedule to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Grant Management & Compliance: Monitor grant requirements and ensure compliance with funder expectations.
• Grant Management & Compliance: Prepare and coordinate grant reports, outcomes reporting, and stewardship communications.
• Grant Management & Compliance: Maintain accurate grant records, documentation, proposal files, and reporting requirements.
• Grant Management & Compliance: Track grant performance, award status, and funding outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with program leaders, finance staff, and executive leadership to gather information, budgets, outcomes, and supporting documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate meetings and information-sharing processes required for proposal development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain a centralized repository of grant narratives, organizational information, impact data, and supporting materials.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support organization-wide efforts to strengthen funding sustainability and resource development.
• Data & Performance Management: Track proposal submissions, awards, renewals, and funding trends.
• Data & Performance Management: Produce regular reports on grant activity and funding pipeline performance.
