Job summary

University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is seeking a Research Grants Project Manager in the College of Education and Human Development. You will oversee the full lifecycle of sponsored projects, including proposal development, budget preparation, award management and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate complex, interdisciplinary proposals across institutions, advise faculty on funding opportunities, manage budgets and expenditures, and help develop policies for grant administration while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years related experience or Master’s degree with 1 year related experience.
• Related experience in pre/post-award grant activities and budget management.
• Knowledge of sponsored-project administration and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of sponsored projects: proposal development and submission, budget preparation, award management and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate complex, interdisciplinary, multi-institutional proposals and advise faculty on funding opportunities.
• Manage grant budgets and expenditures; develop policies for grant administration; provide training to faculty and staff.
• Lead grant-related workflows; monitor sponsor requirements; maintain research funding data.
• Support college initiatives in research and sponsored projects growth.
