Job summary

The New York City Department of Transportation, Division of Transportation Planning and Management, seeks an experienced Grant/Budget Analyst to coordinate grant portfolios and city operating budgets for TPM subdivisions.

Reporting to the TPM Budget Director, the analyst will develop and reconcile budgets, prepare quarterly reports, and support end-of-year exercises while collaborating with multiple units to ensure timely, accurate financial information for priority projects.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with city budget processes and grant claims.
• Knowledge of FMS, PassPort and CHRMS reports and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage TPM subdivisions' grants; develop grant proposals.
• Update project schedules and coordinate budget requests.
• Monitor project progress and prepare administrative actions like time extensions.
