Job summary

Prince George's County Government in Largo, MD seeks an experienced Grant Management Analyst (Budget Management Analyst 4G) to lead advanced budget development and administration within Unit B - Grants. This role advises on fiscal policy, oversees grant budgets, and collaborates with agencies to align funding with strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, guide analyses, and prepare reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business/Public Management, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analyses.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative and budgeting experience; including at least one (1) year in a lead/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers current operating, grant and capital expense budgets.
• Monitors grant budgets and ensures compliance with governing regulations and internal controls.
• Leads analyses and reviews of budget submissions and prepares presentations for leadership.
• Represents the department in meetings with agencies and outside entities.
• Supervises staff and provides guidance on budgeting projects and procedures.
