Job summary

Hart InterCivic is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to craft compliant, persuasive responses to state and local government RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and related sales documents. The role requires translating complex technical inputs into customer-focused narratives and collaborating with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations and Engineering.

You will manage content libraries, ensure on-time submissions, and align proposals with win strategies and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional and persuasive writing experience.
• Experience supporting sales or business development in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with proposal tools (Loopio, Responsive) and MS Office.
• Knowledge of state and local government procurement a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop win strategies and create compelling proposals.
• Write, edit, and tailor responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs.
• Transform technical input into customer-focused content.
• Manage and improve reusable content libraries.
• Ensure compliance with procurement standards and submission requirements.
