Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram is seeking a Government & Public Sector Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end proposal responses for government opportunities. You will craft compliant, persuasive content, coordinate inputs from subject matter experts, and ensure timely delivery to win public sector contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience creating government/public sector proposals across federal, state, local, and education.
• Ability to translate complex capabilities into compliant, persuasive content.
• Strong writing and editing with attention to detail.
• Understanding of proposal compliance and deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple proposals in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with proposal libraries, workflow tools, or project platforms such as Asana.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop content for government/public sector opportunities that comply with submission requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Review solicitations and identify mandatory requirements, timelines, and attachments.
• Develop outlines, content matrices, and writing plans to organize inputs and keep contributors on track.
• Translate technical and advisory content into clear government-focused value propositions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather inputs and supporting documentation.
