Job summary

Vertex Solutions, LLC is seeking a Proposal Manager to oversee all aspects of government proposal development, from kickoff to submission. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance, and drive strategy for technical bid responses.

The role requires strong proposal management, writing skills, and experience with U.S. government procurement processes. Flexible work arrangements may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related technical, contracts, or management field.
• 5+ years of project management, technical writing, or a similar role.
• 3+ years designing and producing RFP responses for the U.S. Government, including content solutions.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in proposal management with technical content.
• Training in formal capture/proposal methodologies (e.g., Shipley).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Capture Management or related planning is desired.
• Comfortable with MS Word and desktop publishing.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of the proposal development process from solicitation release through submission (RFIs, RFQs, and RFPS).
• Drive new revenue growth as primary manager for incoming RFPs through proposals to customers.
• Oversee the proposal process including task delegation, editing, formatting, and submission.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to create deliverables that meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Develop and convey pursuit and bid strategy during capture reviews.
• Identify addressable market and advise on strategy for technical solutions.
• Support multiple captures and complex bids while leading one or more efforts.
• Collaborate with SMEs to prepare response documents and ensure alignment with requirements.
