Job summary

Prometheus Energetics is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts. You will ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR and customer requirements while supporting proposals, negotiations, and documentation across program teams.

Work closely with Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to mitigate risks and meet contractual obligations. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain & Contracts and requires the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contract Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of government contract administration experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and government contracting practices.
• Experience with DoW, NASA, or major defense primes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts from award through closeout, including modifications, funding actions, and change orders.
• Interpret and apply FAR/DFARS clauses and prime-flow‑downs.
• Maintain contract files and deliverables; track value, funding, obligations, and milestones.
