Job summary

Cadence Design Systems seeks a GovCon Manager to oversee U.S. Government-funded contracts across software, hardware, IP, and design services. You will coordinate with legal, sales, finance, and programs to mitigate risk and align contractual terms with business objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in government contracts, knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and strong communication skills. U.S. person status is required. Salary highlights and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of government contracts experience including complex proposals and negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS, especially FAR Part 12 contracting and data rights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of U.S. Government-funded contracts and subcontracts from capture to closeout.
• Advise on compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and Cadence policy.
• Support proposal development, including review of solicitations and preparation of exceptions.
• Assist legal with prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and related agreements.
• Coordinate with legal, sales, finance, programs, and other stakeholders to align terms with business objectives.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Cadence products, services, policies, and processes.
