Job summary

Cadence is seeking a GovCon Manager to oversee U.S. Government-funded contracts with aerospace & defense customers. You will oversee capture, proposals, negotiation, and closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and Cadence policy while coordinating with legal, sales, finance, and programs teams.

The role requires balancing multiple deals and interfacing with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in government contracts, strong communication skills, and experience with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of government contracts experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Broad knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including FAR Part 12 contracting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of U.S. Government-funded contracts and subcontracts from capture to closeout.
• Advise on compliance with FAR/DFARS and Cadence policy.
• Support proposal development and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with legal, sales, finance, programs and other stakeholders to align terms with business objectives.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Cadence products, services, and processes.
