Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a business-minded lawyer to join its in-house legal team and support the U.S. and international defense business vertical.

This is a strategically focused role with cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, finance, sales and marketing. You will lead reviews and negotiations of prime contracts, subcontracts and supplier agreements, advise on FAR/DFARS, export controls and data rights, and help build scalable legal operations for a high-growth

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active state bar.
• 5+ years of experience with government contracting and defense procurement.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS, Data Rights and IP protections.
• Proposal development experience including scope, pricing and compliance.
• Capability to guide compliance with export controls (EAR/ITAR) and CUI handling.
• U.S. citizen with ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate prime contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Interpret solicitation and contract requirements for government contractors (cybersecurity, export control).
• Review vendor and supplier agreements for software, hardware, and services.
• Support Defense verticals’ international growth by analyzing foreign bid requirements.
• Develop scalable, sustainable legal operations processes and tools.
• Lead compliance activities, reporting, and internal investigations.
• Draft company policies and employee government contracts and training.
