Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an exceptional, business-minded lawyer to join our legal team, supporting the U.S. and international Defense business vertical.

This strategic role blends internal and external-facing responsibilities and partners closely with product, engineering, finance, sales, and marketing to drive impactful outcomes. You will lead on key deals, guide compliance with FAR/DFARS, export controls, data rights and IP protection, and help scale legal operations while

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in one state bar.
• 5+ years' experience with government contracts and defense.
• Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate a variety of government contracts and supplier agreements.
• Interpret and explain government solicitations and contract requirements (FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR).
• Lead on compliance and internal investigations as needed.
• Draft company policies and provide training on government contracts and compliance.
• Support international growth of Defense verticals and related regulatory efforts.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, finance, sales, and marketing to deliver legal services.
