Job summary

Kaiva Tech, LLC is seeking a Compliance Review Attorney in Seattle to support federal compliance, regulatory review, and case evaluation for a government customer. You will analyze complaints and supporting documentation to determine disposition and ensure adherence to laws and policies.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, advanced legal writing, and the ability to manage multiple investigations in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience conducting legal analysis, investigations, compliance reviews, regulatory reviews, administrative reviews, or case evaluations preferred.
• Experience supporting government, regulatory, compliance, investigative, or legal operations environments preferred.
• Demonstrated legal writing, analytical, and research skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review complaints, allegations, inquiries, and supporting documentation for completeness and sufficiency.
• Conduct legal and factual analysis to identify relevant issues and determine disposition or next steps.
• Evaluate information for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.
• Perform research and analysis to support case review, investigative, and compliance-related activities.
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, summaries, reports, and other written work products.
• Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and supporting records within applicable systems.
• Analyze large volumes of information and documentation while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate with stakeholders to obtain additional information, clarification, or supporting documentation as needed.
• Support quality assurance efforts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of work products.
• Manage multiple assignments and competing priorities while meeting established deadlines and performance standards.
• Protect sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
