Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Experience with annual financial reports or audits.
• Governmental accounting experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead external audit preparations and liaison with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and strengthen internal controls.
• Direct month-end and year-end close; provide budgetary analysis.
• Act as in-house expert on complex accounting topics; recommend solutions.
• Oversee debt compliance and assist CFO with capital borrowings.
• Track GASB pronouncements and update procedures.
• Support budget development and special projects.
• Provide guidance to finance staff and uphold safety standards.
