Job summary

COMTECH TELECOMMUNICATIONS in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Vice President / General Manager to lead a complex engineered-products business. You will own the full P&L, set strategy, drive product development, manufacturing, and commercialization, and build strong executive relationships with customers and partners.

This hands-on role requires deep technical insight, strategic vision, and a track record of turning ambitious plans into profitable growth across domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in engineered-product or similar environments.
• Proven ability to manage revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Experience bringing new products from development through production.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; advanced business/engineering education beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own the full business P&L, including revenue, bookings, backlog, gross margin, operating expense, EBITDA/earnings, working capital, cash generation, and capital requirements.
• Establish and execute the annual operating plan and multi-year strategic plan.
• Translate strategy into measurable operating priorities, financial targets, resource requirements, and execution plans.
• Maintain rigorous forecasting and operating discipline across revenue, margin, labor, inventory, capital, program performance, and cash.
• Identify underperforming products, customers, programs, facilities, and cost structures and take timely corrective action.
• Balance near-term financial commitments with investment required for sustainable long-term growth.
