Livingston International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy and timeliness of customs transactions, performing post-entry activities, audits, and regulatory support.

You will work with Operations, Compliance, and Post Entry to identify risks and implement improvements. Requirements include 5 years of related experience, knowledge of tariff classification and trade programs, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or post-entry operations.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export practices, and compliance.
• Experience with post-entry corrections, protests, and duty recovery preferred.
• Knowledge of tariff classification, origin rules, and trade programs.

Responsabilités

• Review and audit customs entries for compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, and regulatory filings on time.
• Analyze tariff classification, origin, and FTA eligibility.
• Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Review invoices and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Support internal audits, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring.
• Communicate with internal teams to obtain information and provide updates.
• Identify recurring issues and perform root cause analysis.
