Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage import operations with emphasis on customs clearance, HTS validation, and regulatory compliance. You will review documentation, work with brokers, and ensure audit trails for all entries. The role requires vigilance for export controls and restricted end-use checks.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, applying tariffs, maintaining records, and coordinating with multiple teams to maintain compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in international trade compliance.
• Strong HTS classification and import documentation knowledge.
• Experience with processing Customs Entries (brokerage).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel.
• Licensed customs broker a plus; Oracle experience a plus.
• Detail oriented, self-starter, and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments day-to-day and monitor customs clearance.
• Review CBP Form 7501 for accuracy (HTS, duty rates, COO).
• Coordinate corrections with brokers to align with internal standards.
• Review supporting documents: invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, COO certificates.
• Work with brokers and logistics to ensure timely clearance.
• Track tariffs and duties under Section 301/232.
• Maintain CBP recordkeeping per 19 CFR 163.
• Escalate concerns per internal procedures.
• Collaborate with management, supply chain, finance, IT and legal.
• Identify applicable government agency requirements for imports/exports.
