Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management within its Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division. You will drive cost-saving initiatives, ensure on-time delivery, and align with regulatory requirements while collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes contract negotiation, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement to support aerospace programs and exports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; 6+ years in procurement.
• CPM or APICS certification desired.
• Thorough knowledge of purchasing and negotiating methods.
• Ability to improve processes and apply continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers through market research and RFQ processes.
• Evaluate proposals and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate terms and administer procurement contracts to conclusion.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on supplier-related projects.
• Prepare reports analyzing trends in procurement data.
