Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Bremen, GA is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to coordinate the purchase and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies within the manufacturing facility.

You will estimate costs, negotiate with suppliers, manage RFQs, source globally, support new product launches, and drive cost reduction while ensuring on-time delivery.

This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field and 3–5 years of procurement experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field required.
• 3–5 years procurement experience in manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with negotiation, sourcing, bidding, contracting, supplier performance management and risk management preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing systems (SAP) and MRP systems (JD Edwards Enterprise One) is a plus.
• Fluency in Japanese and cross-cultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate cost by market price review and supplier cost
• Manage negotiation and implementation of all technical modifications
• Manage RFQ, negotiation, ordering, and expediting delivery
• Domestic and global sourcing to support multiple brands
• Support new product launches and set cost reduction programs
• Project management of purchasing activity for multiple concurrent new product development programs
• Ensure launches meet targets for quality, cost, and timing
• Hold suppliers accountable to commitments and project deliverables
