Job summary

Flex seeks a Production Planning Manager to lead forecasts, schedules, capacity and inventory across global manufacturing. You will partner with operations, procurement, and program management to balance demand and capacity, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal throughput.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in production planning or supply chain roles, with strong ERP/MRP skills and leadership abilities in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required with 8+ years of progressive experience.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP, forecasting, and production scheduling methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of production forecasts, master schedules, capacity plans, and inventory strategies.
• Partner with operations, procurement, materials, and program management to address constraints.
• Drive shop scheduling, dispatching, and production control for throughput and on-time delivery.
• Develop operational reports, forecasts, and KPIs for leadership decisions.
• Mentor and develop planning teams and coordinate with customers on launches.
