Job summary

Quorum Software is seeking a Procurement Manager to independently lead indirect procurement categories and manage the end-to-end lifecycle. The role requires strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with potential to mentor specialists and grow into people management as the function evolves.

The successful candidate will drive sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and partner with Legal, Finance, and Security to ensure compliant agreements while delivering cost savings and process

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive global procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier management experience.
• Ability to work independently, lead through influence, and mentor procurement professionals.
• Proven experience leading negotiations across indirect categories, including software, SaaS, technology, and hardware.
• Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of financial analysis, business cases, total cost of ownership, and savings methodologies.
• Experience improving procure‑to‑pay processes and procurement operating models.
• Able to build credibility and collaborate with cross-functional leaders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, including sourcing, bidding, negotiations, PO coordination, and supplier management.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and category plans.
• Lead global sourcing efforts and enable internal stakeholders to maximize value from third-party partners.
• Identify cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements through category strategies and supplier collaboration.
• Drive procurement process, system, and policy improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Mentor Procurement Specialists and provide guidance on complex sourcing and negotiation activities.
