DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Senior Procurement Specialist in Henderson, USA. The role focuses on ensuring supplier commitments align with product lead times, resolving delays, and expediting POs to meet schedules.

You will oversee PO lead times and the recommit process, while coordinating with suppliers to maintain on-time delivery. The position requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 2–4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• This is an intermediate level position with strong interpersonal and analytical requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma acceptable with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all commitments from the demand planning groups are within the agreed product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing needed material within the agreed timeline.
• Manage the lead times of all POs placed for the customer and report on lead times.
• Expedite POs as needed.
• Ensure the recommit process is followed when required.
• Review backlog reports and coordinate any exculations with suppliers; review recommits and rejected expedited requests.
• Review suppliers' build/ship plans to ensure the plan meets PO commit dates.
• Review potential on-time shipment, OTS issues; document issues and report on them weekly.
• Manually schedule orders outside product lead time with the supplier and identify reasons.
