Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals seeks a Global Medical Director, Early Assets to develop, lead, and execute the medical strategy for CNS early-stage programs including Huntington’s disease, CAA, and Alzheimer's disease.

You will serve as the medical affairs delegate on the Program Team, driving evidence generation, thought leadership, and scientific engagement with international stakeholders to support development and commercialization plans.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent ex-US medical degree.
• 5+ years in Medical Affairs and R&D, especially early clinical development.
• Deep knowledge of Neurological Diseases.
• Experience with RWE, diagnostics, translational work, and digital innovations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and scientific leadership to define global Medical Affairs strategy for CNS early-stage programs.
• Lead global scientific engagement strategy with key stakeholders.
• Develop, initiate, and maintain relationships with international scientific leaders and stakeholders.
• Organize and manage global expert events (advisory boards, expert panels, symposia).
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Value & Pipeline Commercialization, global market access, and PRC on medical aspects.
