Job summary

Alnylam, Cambridge, MA, seeks an Associate Director of Clinical Science to join the global clinical development team. You will support study design, protocol development, and collaboration across medical leads, safety, statistics, and QA to advance therapeutic programs.

You will contribute to regulatory documents, safety plans, and responses to health authorities, while guiding data collection strategies and review processes across studies.

Qualifications

• College degree in life sciences or nursing; advanced degree preferred (PhD/PharmD/MS).
• Experience with complex trials and NDA submissions is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in multifunctional and multinational teams; strong scientific/analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical science expert for assigned studies; maintain current knowledge in therapy areas.
• Provide protocol development input and assist with protocol amendments and related letters.
• Contribute to safety data plans and review narratives with MedSafety and PV teams.
• Guide design of data collection strategy, SAP, and data review plans.
• Lead clinical data review strategy and present data to stakeholders; support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with external data monitoring/adjudication Committees and site training.
• Support regulatory filings and responses; contribute to Clinical Study Reports and publications.
