Government agencies, and shape strategies for international sales and compliance across defense programs. Requires advanced degree and 12+ years in international affairs or related fields, with experience in defense export regulations, strong written and verbal skills,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in international affairs, political science, or business administration or a related field with 12+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with DoD and interagency export requirements for international defense sales.
  • Ability to analyze complex policy issues and translate them to practical business guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting policy recommendations and executive-level briefings.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and functional organizations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic regulatory environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provides advice, assistance, and support to the Deputy for Global Export Policy on all TRFD and export policy matters.
  • Collaborates with International Business Capture and P&L teams to secure regulatory support for international endeavors and USG support.
  • Develops export strategies aligned with key milestones and policy requirements.
  • Interfaces with MILDEP Weapons and TRFD offices to advance GA-ASI and Government Affairs priorities.
  • Pre-coordinates GA-ASI international pursuits with USG TRFD and export communities.
  • Meets with US Government disclosure/export control communities on requirements for major initiatives.
  • Attends program reviews to provide regulatory and policy guidance.
  • Analyzes proposed US Government export policies and regulatory changes affecting export controls.
  • Organizes meetings with GA-ASI and USG bodies to address TRFD and export issues.
  • Provides support on regional, CAT, UAS, and other policy issues as needed.
  • Prepares written documents for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Provides weekly activity updates on progress.
  • Supports other country or issue-related efforts as needed.
