Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Account Director, Data Center Logistics to lead and scale complex logistics operations supporting critical data center infrastructure globally. This hybrid leadership role requires a minimum of two days per week onsite in Louisville, Kentucky, with 25–50% travel across NA, EMEA, and APAC.

You will develop the strategic vision for data center logistics, build executive relationships, and oversee vendor performance, governance, and KPIs across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience managing complex 3PL operations and logistics providers.
• Ability to develop executive-level proposals and lead customer-facing organizations.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% across NA, EMEA, and APAC.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, cloud, or mission-critical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for data center logistics and 3PL services across global regions.
• Lead programs supporting data center deployments, operations, and asset lifecycle management.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks for operational excellence.
• Build and maintain relationships with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
• Develop proposals, business cases, and service offerings for complex customer requirements.
• Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions with global customers and partners.
• Oversee relationships with manufacturers, transportation providers, and logistics vendors; drive performance and compliance.
• Lead strategic sourcing, inventory management, and supply chain planning for data center ops.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks across geographies and regulations.
• Mentor high-performing teams across logistics, operations, and customer-facing functions.
• Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and executive communication.
