Job summary

Rivian is hiring a Senior Global Supply Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing strategy for CapEx projects. Based onsite in multiple locations including Atlanta, Normal, Plymouth, Irvine, and more, you will drive bid processes, negotiate terms, and manage Tier 1 supplier relationships.

The role requires a strong background in supply chain, CapEx sourcing, and manufacturing experience, with travel expected around 20–30% per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in creating commodity strategies and navigating economic/political factors.
• CapEx or technical sourcing experience, preferably in battery, automotive, or electronics.
• Supplier management experience.
• Manufacturing or factory experience.
• Proficient in SAP, Basecamp, and cost estimation models.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large spend projects; drive competitive bid processes with oversight.
• Use supply chain systems to support business needs and onboard new team members.
• Prospect suppliers and develop category/commodity strategies.
• Negotiate most commercial terms with limited leadership involvement.
• Understand Tier 1 footprints and optimize contract timing for long-term value.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for forecasting and cost data.
