Job Location:

The candidate must be based out of Northern California / Bay Area. This role is remote-based; the candidate must be able to meet in person with customers and host meetings at the local office. Travel component of 0-10%.

The VISHAY Area Sales Team adds value by implementing the aggregated sales strategy and related marketing measures to sell products to various customers within an assigned territory.

This role involves selling passive and discrete semiconductors, along with engineering tools, to assigned business clients, planning operations, and providing relevant data and services.

What you will be doing:

  • Selling products and services from assigned VISHAY businesses to all customers in the region.
  • Providing forecasts and planning data, analyzing market conditions, and maintaining stakeholder networks.
  • Identifying leads, negotiating proposals, and coordinating project realization.
  • Implementing marketing campaigns for assigned markets as appropriate.
  • Serving as a primary contact for customers on commercial matters, positioning VISHAY as a global market leader with top-tier products and services.
  • Coordinating with colleagues outside the territory for forecasting and revenue tracking.
  • Working with cross-functional teams such as Field Applications Engineers, Marketing, Customer Service, and Inside Sales to deliver excellent service.
  • Building relationships across all customer levels to facilitate communication, drive initiatives, and fulfill requests promptly.
  • Proactively anticipating needs of customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with distribution partners to drive revenue opportunities.

A role at this level:

  • Sells passive and discrete semiconductors and engineering tools to clients, onsite or remotely.
  • Plans and manages own work activities.
  • Engages stakeholders actively, providing information and support for organizational infrastructure or services.
  • Coordinates services to meet stakeholder expectations and continuously optimize processes.
  • Uses independent judgment relevant to assigned processes.

What you will bring:

  • Educational background: BSEE required; MSEE preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the electronic component industry.
  • Experience working with Nvidia is highly preferred.
  • Ability to host or join meetings early morning or late evening to accommodate different time zones.
