Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a Development Director, Strategic Giving for the College of Liberal Arts. The role manages donor portfolios, cultivates alumni and foundation relationships, and aligns gifts with college priorities on a university-wide fundraising strategy.

The position focuses on identifying, qualifying, and upgrading donors to major gifts, while collaborating with the Dean, development team, and annual giving leadership to build sustainable pipelines for philanthropy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift planning-related roles.
• CFRE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Advance philanthropic support for the College of Liberal Arts.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan for the College of Liberal Arts.
• Manage a portfolio of major, mid-level,Leadership, and emerging major-gift prospects and donors.
• Establish meaningful relationships with alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and other college constituents.
• Work with the Dean and Directors to translate priorities into funding opportunities.
• Prepare and coordinate proposals, solicitations, gift agreements, and stewardship plans.
