Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a Development Director, Strategic Giving for the College of Liberal Arts. The role focuses on expanding major gift activity and aligning donors with university priorities.

The position works closely with the Dean, Directors of Development, and the Annual Giving Director to build a robust donor pipeline and support foundation goals across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years fundraising experience.
• CFRE preferred but not required; experience in higher education fundraising is a plus.
• Experience with donor prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan for the College of Liberal Arts.
• Manage a portfolio of major, mid-level, leadership, and emerging major-gift donors.
• Cultivate relationships with alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and university stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, solicitations, gift agreements, and stewardship plans.
• Monitor donor movement and identify gaps to strengthen the pipeline.
