Job summary

Arizona State University Foundation for a New American University (ASUF) seeks a Charitable Agreements Specialist in Tempe, AZ. The role reviews and processes gift and grant agreements, assists with drafting and revisions, and ensures donor and university compliance across stakeholders.

You will collaborate with development officers, KE, RA, and ASU Foundation teams to streamline workflows and uphold policy standards while maintaining strict confidentiality of donor information.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting, reviewing, processing and managing complex gift and grant documentation with high accuracy.
• Ability to interpret policies, donor terms, and compliance requirements.
• Experience handling donor documentation and endowment-related matters.
• Experience with nonprofit/gov grant agreements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and process gift and grant agreements, LOIs, amendments, and related docs.
• Assist with creation, revision, tracking, scanning, signature routing, and finalization of agreements.
• Advise officers and stakeholders on agreement requirements and donor documentation.
• Identify issues related to donor intent, account administration, and compliance.
• Coordinate with KE, RA, and Foundation development officers to optimize processes.
• Escalate non-standard terms and align with ASU policies and governance.
