Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a seasoned operations leader for the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. You will manage patient access, scheduling, clinical deployment, ambulatory and inpatient operations, and outreach agreements.

Reporting to the Division Administrator, you will supervise the Administrative Coordinator team, oversee space planning and facilities, coordinate with faculty, ICCE leadership, the VA, referring providers, and partners to optimize workflows

Responsibilities

• Strategic access management for Division ambulatory operations: Reviews patient-access performance and new- and return-patient availability for all Division faculty and APPs. Uses available tools and data to identify barriers and expand access through template changes, online scheduling, EPIC block switches, and other approved mechanisms in partnership with the Division Administrator.
